Operating principle and recommendations

The device is identical in characteristics and operating principle to the Farmpro grain moisture meter and differs primarily in its design for comfortable placement in the palm of your hand.

A pair of round plates with wear-resistant pyramid-shaped notches are millstones for grinding samples placed in the chamber.

After filling the container with grain, the lid is screwed on along the thread and performs 3 roles:

• squeezes the grain sample poured into the container with a spring
• crushes the sample to a mush state when rotating.
• acts as a dispenser, preventing you from pouring more than is needed for analysis.

These simple steps facilitate the passage of electric current through the sample and give an important + 0.25% to accuracy.

Superpro is programmed for 16 grains in demand on the agricultural market. These calibrations are selected on command, depending on the type of grain being tested for moisture.
Sample preparation is minimal: clean the grain from debris, straw, small stones, soil particles.

✓ Advice - fill the container completely, turn the lid until you feel resistance. This ensures a sufficient level of grinding and minimal passport error.

Moisture content measurement algorithm

1. Thoroughly clean the cylindrical chamber from the remains of previous tests with a brush. This is important, especially if the grain of another crop was previously tested. Turn on by pressing the ON/TEST button, moisture meter for valuable grain will check the battery charge. Use the arrows to select the calibration.
2. Prepare the sample and fill the measuring chamber to the brim.
3. Screw the lid until the indicator is flush with the lid plane. The force due to the elasticity of the springs will gradually increase and the compressed sample will be between the two millstones.
4. Start the testing process by pressing the ON/TEST button.
5. The display will show:
   • the current moisture percentage;
   • the name and number of the selected calibration
   • the average result of several measurements.
