Superpro Combi is a reliable device. The Superpro Combi body is made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, and the 50 cm probe with a temperature and moisture sensor inside is made of stainless steel. The robust Superpro Combi body is specially designed to be comfortable to hold in your hand. The display backlight allows you to easily measure the moisture and temperature in hay and straw at any time of day and in any weather conditions.

How to measure the moisture content of hay or straw in 4 steps:

• Turn on the tester using the ON button.
• Insert the stainless steel probe into the bale.
• Read the moisture and temperature readings from the display.
• Press the button with the image of a drop to save the measurement result, as well as automatically calculate the average value.

How the Superpro Combi moisture meter works

The Superpro Combi moisture meter measures the electrical conductivity and temperature in hay, straw and silage. Accurate moisture content is calculated using an advanced measurement technique developed over many years of experience.

Average measurement value

The variable nature of hay and straw during harvesting or drying makes automatic calculation of the average moisture value an undeniable advantage. Significant differences are observed when measuring freshly harvested straw/hay and bales that have been in storage for some time. The error often reaches ±0.5% and can be higher for very wet, very dry or fresh product. With the Superpro moisture meter, it is easy to average several measurements. Four or five measurements are automatically used to calculate the average. Using averaging and calibration settings, it is possible to achieve measurement accuracy better than ±1.5%

Calibration settings for bales with different densities

The Superpro Combi moisture analyzer is supplied with a calibration suitable for all bales and silages. To obtain the most accurate measurement result, it may be necessary to calibrate using a bale with known moisture content. Using the Cal ± button, you can easily adjust your device.
