Description

The post for electric fence is made of ultraviolet-resistant polypropylene

The length of the metal tip (with which the post is easily stuck into the ground) is 170 mm., that is, the above-ground part of the post is 850 mm long.

For sufficient stability of the plastic support of the electric fence, it must be stuck into the ground so that the plastic protrusion (pedal) on it is level with the surface of the ground.

The posts are equipped with special insulators for fastening conductive tape (ribbon) or wire.

A wide range of sizes (designed for all types of animals) and colors. Corner posts designed for mounting the fence must be very strong and made of wood or steel.

An electric fence (electric shepherd) is a lightweight wire fence to which high-voltage pulses are supplied from a special generator. The wire rests on insulators attached to metal, plastic, or wooden posts. The fence is designed to protect pens and pastures of domestic farm animals and poultry, crops from damage caused by livestock and animals, and to prevent livestock from getting onto highways and into ravines.

The operating principle of an electric fence is a short-term shock from high voltage electric current when an animal comes into direct contact with an uninsulated wire of the fence.
